Follow the shenanigans of Professor Harold Hill as he sells the idea of a children's band to the townsfolk of River City Iowa. You will meet Marion Paroo, the librarian, her mother, Mrs. Paroo and her brother Winthrop. Mayor Shinn and his wife Eulalie prepare the townsfolk for their annual pagent! Hear the chatter of the Pick-a -Little ladies and the wonderful harmonies of the barbershop quartet. You will listen to wonderful songs such as Trouble, Gary Indiana, Til there was You, Lydia Rose, Wells Fargo Wagon and 76 Trombones! The opening number of Rock Island is worth the price of admission!
