The Blue Castle: A Musical

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of L.M.Montgomery’s beloved 1926 romance, Ryleepuss productions is pleased to present an original musical production of The Blue Castle.

This enchanting story follows Valancy Stirling, a “plain Jane” trapped by a stifling family and a life of “should-nots.” After receiving life-altering news, Valancy courageously decides to live on her own terms, finding adventure, friendship and an unexpected, rebellious love, in the Ontario wilderness. Heartfelt, humorous, and soaring with melody, this production honours Montgomery’s most mature love story, and reminds us it’s never too late to seek out a “Blue Castle” of our dreams.
