WindReach Farm is hosting its first on-site event of 2022!

Bring the family out to watch and learn about sheep shearing and participate in other activities. It’s been a while since you’ve had a chance to come to the Farm and see your favourite furry and feathered friends, so why not check out our Swing into Spring Event featuring sheep shearing?

Proof of vaccination is not required at the event, but is recommended. Please bring your mask as it will be required in certain areas.

Activity areas include archery, chicks, farm animals, music, pop-up shop, plant propagation & seed exhibit, refreshments, scavenger hunt, sheep shearing, wagon rides and wool demonstrations.

In order to maximize everyone’s enjoyment of the event, you must select an arrival time of either morning or afternoon when purchasing your ticket. Morning activities will run from 10 am to approximately 12 and afternoon activities will run from 1 to 3 pm, with the event ending shortly after 3 pm.

We will be stopping activities at 12 and clearing the property in order to give our animals, volunteers and sheep shearer a break before starting up afternoon activities at 1 pm. If you purchase a morning ticket, you will be asked to leave shortly after 12 in order to prepare for the afternoon visitors.

We ask you to please arrive at the Farm within the first hour of the morning or afternoon session in order to maximize the activities offered at the event. We are capping the number of tickets for each time window, so get your tickets now to secure your spot!

Tickets for this event are $25/car. You only need one ticket for everyone in your car, whether you are one person or more. Please print your e-ticket and bring it with you to the event as you will be asked to present it to confirm your entry time upon arrival.

If you purchase a ticket for Swing into Spring, additional info will be sent to you in the week prior to the event.
