The Wizard of Oz

Marking its 11th season, the Sunderland Lions Community Theatre proudly presents a familiar and exciting musical story – The Wizard of Oz (Youth Edition) - wherein Dorothy drops into the Land of Oz where only one thing is certain: she’s got to find a way back to Kansas! A funny and fast-paced journey down the yellow brick road ensues, as Dorothy and her new friends travel to the fabled Emerald City to meet the Great Oz. When the Great Oz demands a steep price for sending her home, a perilous new adventure begins featuring a cast of imaginative characters with messages of friendship, strength and hope. This musical adaptation truly captures the heart of L. Frank Baum’s classic tale!

Featuring solo and choral singing, dramatic dancing and movement, and engaging costumes, The Wizard of Oz will undoubtedly be entertaining and memorable! Supported by the Sunderland Lions Club and a host of expert production volunteers, the SLCT extends an invitation for all to enjoy this energetic youth-based musical production!

All tickets are: $20.00 for adults, $17.00 for 17 and younger and all balcony seats and include all ticket fees.
